Aaliyah & Romas a Modern Twist on a Traditional Nikkah

A local make-up (Kissed_by Kaur)  artist and I (Saleena Khan Photo) wanted to show case beautiful intimate wedding ideas for South Asian Couples. When you hear South Asian Wedding we tend to automatically think BIG, GRAND, LAVISH, OVER THE TOP. We wanted all of the above but in a more intimate setting, you can still create your dream wedding even if it is 30 of your closest friends and family. We enlisted the help of Erika Amalia Events to help bring our vision to life. She took all of our ideas and created this beautiful concept of dreamy greens and creams with a pop of purple. A traditional spin with a modern twist, traditional being the wedding stage set up (decor pieces from Charming Treasure Rentals) and the floral garlands Created by B&B Floral and modern being the colors,  florals and center pieces. The Gardens Venue provided the perfect space for us to bring this shoot to life, with their large indoor barn and green luscious grounds giving us endless areas to photograph. The outfits & jewelry were provided by Vixen by Vicky, who adds her own unique spin to her gorgeous one of a kind pieces, every little details speaks for its self. We all had a wonderful time working and bringing this vision to life and hope that it inspires couples out there who are having to scale back their weddings but not compromising on the design elements that can really make it that much more special.
